Besides Kerry has been a very good closer. By not coming out and distracting the people, he is making sure that the people take a good hard look at Bush and decide once and for all that Bush is not worth it. And then when he has their attention, he will move to close.

Some of the posters has apparently followed Kerry for all nineteen years he has been in the Senate. Because they have also talked about him being a closer. The "good closer" thing is not clear to me. Yes, he edged a win in the Senate against a former Boston Governor and and took out Dean in Iowa. But I don't what else he has done which gives him the label of "good closer". I believe there is some 'say it enough and it will happen' going on. We will find out in November. Meanwhile, he needs to give us clarity on his positions and state some policy. Even the media will take him to task if he doesn't begin doing this pretty soon.

Don Giovanni is BS'ing the thread. One more repetitive post from him and he's on ignore. Time is too valuable.
