Tell me what happened to sndk yesterday (I mean, why)

SanDisk went up like many other semiconductor stocks did on Tuesday. NASDAQ was up 41 points on Tuesday May, 25, 2004. Newspaper headline said "Oil price dip fuels stocks advance".
