The funny thing about Kerry and energy is that he has been opposed to a wind farm in Nantucket Sound. So for all his blabbering about energy independence and his continued opposition to drilling, he is also helping to block alternative energy. I suspect it is a matter of NIMBY has Theresa has a house on Nantucket Island and they probably have ties with the beautiful people who are opposed to this project.

Years ago I pencilled Ray in as a nut when he unloaded an over-the-top rant about business corruption causing the California energy crisis. Then Enron blew up, and it turned out that things were even worse than he imagined. Next I gave Bush the benefit of the doubt about the Iraq invasion, while Ray warned that it would be the utter fiasco we've seen. Ray also expressed fears that Bush would declare martial law and cancel the 2004 election. Sure hope he's wrong on that. Gulp!
