Don, So lets say Kerry does pick Hillary. How then does that get her the top spot in '08? If she is on the '04 ticket and GWB wins, kerry will be history for '08. She will then become heir apparent - like Lieberman. It was Lieberman's to lose and the democratic voters made a huge mistake by opting for dean and kerry. There will be competition from dean, and most likely edwards, in '08 under this scenario. The rest of the '04 democratic primary people are through. If kerry wins in '04 and hold two terms, she will be in the catbird seat for '12. courtesy of your humble political analyst. <g>
