I think the important question to answer is: are there more terrorists TODAY then, say, last year or before? If so, then it might not be a reason to 'quit'... but it sure may be a reason to come up with a smarter more effective way to fight them (you know, one that actually REDUCES the number of terrorists and terrorist acts). After all... aren't we trying to WIN, not LOSE? If you find yourself in a hole --- the first thing to do is to stop digging. Next, you try to climb out of the hole.
