I don't think they'll leave us alone, nor did I say we should leave "them" alone (whoever they are- I'm assuming you mean terrorists, but who really knows?)- false statement of what I want. I think we should be careful, and protect ourselves- but I do not happen to think we can clean up the rest of the world, to make ourselves safe enough to satisfy you. You have set up a false dichotomy in your mind because we do not agree. You assume I am not "convinced" because I do not agree with you. I am convinced terrorists are dangerous, I believed that before 9/11- which is why I bought and recommended MAGS way back in the late 90's (when it was very cheap). I do not happen to think terrorism is the biggest problem facing us, nor do I agree with the way we are fighting it. I do not believe anything remotely like the straw man statements you have attributed to me. But I thank you for them, for it shows me just how pointless this is. I shudder to think what more non-dialog like this would look like.
