Anyone want to talk about how things would be better under Kerry#1 or Kerry#2?

Personally, I think any candidate for President, should not
have any party affiliation. That way, candidates would
have to stand on issues, rather than their party.

under kerry?... well the 'terrorists' will magically switch from being 'moslem' to being 'white, right wingers with guns'...

taxes will skyrocket...

as for foreign affairs and illegal immigration... it will all be - in the words of thomas watson - samo samo....

we could get another stock market bubble... i mean clinton was good at that (actually it was all probably more due to greenspan but we'll leave that aside for the sake of conversation)...

so the only possibility for 'good' that kerry has is in 'instigating' yet another bubble and using the projections brought forth from that for 'balancing' the budget and tweaking the gnp figures using 'hedonics' or somesuch...

more than anything we should expect a lot of new lies for old...

i will say this for kerry... unlike the last 2 presidents... kerry has demonstrated physical courage... now the arguments about his military record and the medals and such are one thing... but he did face at least some fire from what i can tell...

what i don't understand is why anyone wants to be president... there must be a lot of perks in it for friends and family...

other than that... they're basically presiding over the destruction of the republic...
