Well, I guess I'm not familiar enough with the US to accurately answer that question.... Now, as far as civil war is brewing in America, it doesn't necessarily have to flare up into a full-scale bloodshed --like back in 1861-65. Somehow, the US and Europe are treading opposite paths as regards their political evolution: while the EU is fostering centripetal forces to build up a (European) federal government, the US is struggling with centrifugal forces whereby diverse constituencies are pitted against each other... Hence the challenge by the "fundagelicals" (): either the US openly proclaims --and enforces-- its Judeo-Protestant creed and fundagelicals will stop rocking the boat or else.... they'll say that God Himself is urging them to "save America"....
