Here's a tip.

For some time my printer (Lexmark X73) has not printed backgrounds in MS word, nor would it print envelopes. I really didn't mess with it because I could just use my wife's printer when needed.

ON a whim I contacted Lexmark last night and they sent me the fix...and it worked.

So if you are having this problem then go to your printer setttings and under Document color select "Black". I had my set at Auto.

I love my printer again;-)

BTW: Thanks to everyone who gave me the courage to install a router and a NIC card (on my wife's computer). She is crazy about having DSL now and our internet bill has dramaticlly dropped.
