Dr Id, thanks for your input. We have been in the process of creating a master race for a million years. Women select for intelligence as part of the package. That's universal across women. Sexual selection leaves behind the unwanted genes and proliferates those which are desirable. Not sure I agree with this. Women select for money and power more than intelligence. I've seen much better looking women with short fat wealthy men than with highly intelligent academics. Shaq has a good looking wife. Albert Einstein married his cousin! :) Why is it scary to have an intelligent race? I didn't say that. I said that the idea of "genetically engineering" an intelligent race was a scary idea. I just don't think it's smart to f#ck with Mother Nature... Most people like intelligence, in themselves and those surrounding them. I could use another 40 points of IQ. If you had that, you would never be disagreeing with me! :) It's almost as though you are saying that intelligence is a bad thing. Should women not be allowed to be discriminatory against dullards? I know equal rights are all the rage, but that would be an interesting bit of social engineering. Not saying that AT ALL. Intelligence is never a bad thing. Just think of what Bill's post would be like if he had some! And women should be allowed to discriminate against dullards. However, they don't seem to discriminate against dullards with lots of money... And, men with intelligence aren't always attracted to the brightest females in the gene pool. Which, I think, is the problem with your genetic engineering program.
