Think this terror alert is politically motivated? A little something to take our minds off Bush's failures and put Kerry on the defensive? I noticed Ashcroft smirking a bit as he announced the threat today. Why make such a big deal out of it? Why not just put those suspect photos out there? After all when are we NOT in danger of a possible terrorist attack? We always are. And if Bushies are so smart about it why didn't they stop 9-11? PS: The Terry Nichols conviction today also reminds us that extreme rightwing Americans can be just as dangerous as crazy Arabs. OK City was done by a rightwing military NRA nut who hated Clinton, remember.
