Hey Valley Girl,

Maybe you can help those of us from CA which don't exactly share your enlightened liberal view of GWB. Would you specifically articulate for us unwashed souls HOW: (1) Bush is beholden to oil, (2)Bush stole the election (3) Bush is evil and (4)the Patriot Act has limited your daily comings and goings. These four answers are enough. We are easy.

Just a little proof versus a lot of opinion would be nice. It's okay to offer your leftie friends' comments and opinions as proof. Well be sure and log it as opinion versus fact which was suggested by your post.
Fair enough?

BTW,you and I may have something in common. I don't personally know anyone who has spoken favorably about Kerry either.

I'm struggling to recall hearing a single pro-Kerry thought articulated by my leftie friends.

We are all struggling to hear that.

Be sure to let us know if you ever do.

I'm struggling to recall hearing a single pro-Kerry thought articulated by my leftie friends. Is it possible to win the presidency by just making the other chap look bad enough? I guess we'll see.

The old saying goes, "You can't run nothing against something."

You have to give some idea of what you're for. However, if they other chap is unpopular enough, you can be pretty vague. Ronald Reagan was not very specific in 1980, but he said enough of his vision to give the swing voters the idea that "he has some ideas he wants to try out, and Carter has certainly been a huge flop".

But I would characterize the election at this moment as George W. Bush vs. <fill in the blank here>
