This is well know sow and harvest. Interest rates down. Emerging market bite the bait and borrow con gusto. Then Interest rates skyrocket and lenders rake in the cash. Jay already told about that: Every decade there is an economic crisis involving the developing countries. Now time is coming to squeeze every single penny from those idiots that borrowed money when the interest rates were down. I hope at least that the interest paid on my mney in the bank gets better.
