CR, Thanks for the well reasoned response. Where we differ is on the belief that a credible alternate is being offered.

So far kerry has not provided coherent numbers to support his promises. Additionally he has clearly shown an ability to flip and flop. Until he presents numbers that support his promises he is no better than the current occupant. Then - with his bent for higher taxes and an all liberal judiciary - he is not a good candidate. He is simply an alternate for those who do not like Bush.

Watch for erosion this summer of the four pillars of sand that I have identified as the support of kerry's campaign.
