I understand that, but it may backfire on him this time. Particularly after the debacle in Iraq, I don't think he can be sure that another "terrorist" attack on the US will redound in his favor.

BTW, I thought this was a very good speech by Al Gore. I hope his fellow Americans are as impressed as I am with what he said.
