I wonder if that's excuses for such a gung-ho and frothy support for the chosen tribe, er.. invasion, I mean. The Chalabi/Iranian story must have been a convenient moment to interject this excuses, but there will be no follow up, I am sure. Not too late to backtrack and do "rigorous" whatever they are referring to. So are they going to get into the inner core of "This is one of the great journalistic mass delusions of the era,"? I doubt it. They have done a good job to continue on forward and onward with mass delusions.
