Again my belief is that the future will be decided by iraqis who will or wont stand up for the new government in place on 7/1.

Well, naturally. No successful democracy has ever been imposed by military means. But we can plow the field, make the loans, get rid of the weeds and bugs so it can flower unimpeded.

Buck up, Mike, things are a whole lot brighter than you think. And the stock market is telling you so. It fell in April solely for political reasons as the insurgency seemed a disaster and AG dominated the headlines. And it is going up again solely for political reasons. AG was a blip, a nasty damn blip, but not that big a deal in the big scheme of things.

We're going to win this thing on our terms provided the citizens have the temperament not to be derailed by irrelevancies.
