Go for it, you should be able to negotiate a good price with fuel costs so high the dealers are starving right now.

>> I want to buy a boat--maybe today or tomorrow..Don't know if it's compulsive or if I'll really like it <<

Buying a boat in the spring is suicide, buying a new boat is even worse...LOL...

I have 3 boats, a 36' MotorYacht, a 25' Walkaround, and a 13' center console for my kids...

I'd be better off lighting my money on fire...LOL...

Seriously, never buy NEW!! (unlike real estate, boat depreciation will make you sick)...

If you buy new today and "borrow" the money to do it in 5 years if you wanted to sell you will find yourself "underwater" on the loan...

OTOH, If you buy a 3-4yr old boat you will be getting a "almost brand new boat" at a 30% discount...

Good luck,

EOM

PS
You could always go down to the river/bay each weekend and toss in a couple $100 bills to get the same feeling as owning a boat!!!
