Yes the whole thing is understandable if you are able and willing to see it through the various perspectives. The problem comes when you are able to understand and bolster the perspective from only one vantage point. Especially when it is only from the vantage point of an organization that has professed intent of world wide terrorism to accomplish its political goals. I understand the terrorist mentality. It makes total sense. There is no way this group of people could advance their political goals through conventional means. It is still wrong and we have no means left to us except to attempt to stop it by force, while supporting the alternatives.
