Heard that a bunch of credit card companies are now monitoring the payment of ALL bills by their customers. If someone pays, say a utility bill, late their credit card interest rate goes up from the average 12% to 29%.

29%???????

It's perfectly legal but it's obviously taking advantage of what could be a perfect reasonable error. It's not as if these people are paying their credit card bill late.

Unreal.

We are a banana republic.
