GOOD NEWS! Sirenza Microdevices Raises Second Quarter and Fiscal Year 2004 Revenue Guidance Thursday June 3, 7:01 am ET BROOMFIELD, Colo., June 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sirenza Microdevices, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMDI - News), a leading designer and supplier of high-performance radio frequency (RF) components for communications equipment manufacturers, today announced that it expects revenue for the second quarter ending June 30, 2004 to be in the range of $14.9 - $15.4 million, compared with the previously announced guidance of $14.4 - $14.9 million. The current outlook for fiscal year 2004 revenue has been increased to $58.0 - $61.0 million, compared with previous guidance of $58.0 - $60.0 million. This increased second quarter and 2004 revenue guidance reflects the current demand for Sirenza's amplifier and signal source RF components across its global end-markets. Sirenza's first-quarter 2004 net revenues were $13.8 million, compared with $13.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2003 and with $5.8 million for the first quarter of 2003.
