I thought $35 was likely last week, until I saw how easily the market absorbed the liquidation of 56,000 futures from specs in last week's COT release. The electric generation number for the week of May 15th is a real eye opener too (*). There's a big energy crisis developing right in front of our eyes, more than anybody even imagines. We will get another COT tomorrow (good through Tues.)and if we are down again, with prices at $38-39 that would be VERY impressive.

Of course the same kind of orderly liquidation occurred in gold, and we still had a crash in the stocks(which has now materializes as a thank you Jesus gift!!). Will they present energy stocks on a slick oily silver platter too? I kind of doubt it because everything already discounts prices that will only occur in the Land of Oz. But since so many people operate there, use strong support levels, let more specs get out, and watch for broker downgrades to buy. Put premiums have really expanded in energy stocks especially oil services. I wrote naked puts today in GSF as an initial little dip back into the sector. Usually my first dips are early though, but when I go a little crazy (like I did on metals recently) I usually get fairly close.

(*)I've just been getting these on the weekend in Barrons, as there hasn't been any urgency about it. Now though, I'm wondering when and where it's released during the week? Can't find it at Edison Electric Institute? Help?
