I was responding to the idea that Democrats are holding us back from our supply. Depleting our reserves would be foolish. Conservation and alternatives are a painless way to alter the balance of power here. If we could get to 100% self sufficiency that way it would be great but all we need is perhaps a 10% drop in imports to make the world price of energy crash. They have the economic power - energy. We are reliant on them as long as we continue to feed on oil like the pigs of the world. We pay for that energy with the blood of our troops.
