I agree that Europe is uniting and will soon be functioning like one united country of countries. However, that will further weaken them as the members will be bound to keep from rocking the boat. The pressure to comply with the group think will be enormous no matter what stupidity rises to the surface. On the other hand they should be able to weild strong economic pressure to influence world affairs...not sure if that will be a good thing or not.

Regarding the neocon conspiracy theory... I'm far from convinced.
