Yes, it was sobering, more sober than usual for Zeyad, who is usually very pro-Coalition, despite what happened to his cousin. But then Zeyad is clearly a modern person who wants to live in a modern country. People like that are not going to side with al Sadr or the Ba'athists. I thought it was interesting that the al Sadr posters had come down in Basra.

Trust Win to show up again only to sneer. But then, he always thinks that sneering is the beginning and end of all political debate. You can search his posts for the last two years and not find one positive statement.
