A common glimps of the petty whining and hating that the liberal press furthers. Who cares that Bush did not ask underlings in Iraq whether they approved of tearing down the prison. Why not just honestly assess whether it is a good idea or not?

Because they HATE Bush, and feed the haters like you who get all excited when he is attacked.

I thought it would be a nice idea to get rid of that shit hole. What do YOU think? As far as his idiotic point about the Iraqi's wanting to keep the prison, I am pretty sure we would let them keep it if they really wanted to. My bet is that the soon to be free Iraqi's would want to be rid of it.

That you haters can take the quote below from the President and turn it into him being an idiot only illustrates your hatred. Disgusting imo. I think the dems should come up with a plan to save the prison to submit to the Iraqi people (and American voters) and see which one is preferred.

"Under the dictator, prisons like Abu Ghraib were symbols of death and torture," Mr. Bush said. "That same prison became a symbol of disgraceful conduct by a few American troops who dishonored our country and disregarded our values." A new Iraq, Mr. Bush said, will need "a humane, well-supervised prison system."

Not so rare. Ha ha! What a chump the infant Bush is. Constantly undermining even his allies.

A rare glimpse into the problem solving skills of our leader.

I take it you mean that as a compliment as the article, in general, certainly is an example of action, though I do question Ms Bumiller, is that really a name(?)or one made up, use of the word suddenly as it seems to imply the President made the statement on the spur of the moment, which she then explains was not the case, as, she states, the pronouncement was vetted by many associated with the White House. Possibly she has a problem with semantics, and of course the NY Times, being a yellow rag, is far from a bastion of the truth in print. Incidentally, the President often does not call 'a high ranking officer in the Pentagon' to clear his speeches.
