Tell that to working people who get 45% taken out of their paycheck before they even see the money. Tell them they're not paying for it. If rightwingers take away SS and Medicare from working people it will be the largest ever ripoff in world history. Privatization just means corporations get a slice of it and pocket it. All a huge scam by the crooks on the corporate far right. Look at what it's doing in Bush's Medicare plan. Tebns of billions scraped off the top by the HMO's and drug companies who give millions to the Bush campaign. Thievery of the highest order, and thievery we cannot afford thanks to Bush's record-setting deficits.
