You will note that this thread is not specifically about politics. It is more specifically about, "perceptions that defy reality even as time & events unfold in stark contrast to these stated POV's". The reason that politics dominates this thread is due to the sheer amount of misinformation, distortion, lies, deceit & misperceptions of reality that stand in stark contrast to reality, ET AL. The fact that many Democrats & most media outlets have gone off the deep end explains why my focus is upon their actions. This thread has documented this time & time again. As for individuals who wish to post here, the thread header is also quite specific. I took issue with some assertions in your post & asked you to either provide credible evidence to support them or make a clear retraction & stop making similar baseless assertions going forward. It's that simple. I have no wish to endlessly debate discredited opinions stated as fact or reality. It is a complete waste of time, bogs down rational, open & honest debate of serious reality based issues. There is no benefit to beating a dead horse over & over. The choice is yours. Back up those assertions within the guidelines of the thread header or make a sincere retraction. And do not revisit those faulty POV's again on this thread.

"I'm not sure that having voted for a Democratic 8 years shows flexibility" Apparently you didn't read any of the links I provided or you would not have stated that bold faced lie. While it's been 8 years since I voted for a Democrat for President (big deal - I voted Republican twice in a row), I have never voted a straight ticket in my life. I have always voted for the candidate whom I feel will best represent me in the office they are running for, based on each individual candidates record & rhetoric, not their party affiliation. I may actually break that string this time around due to my sincere disgust at where the Democratic Party has gone in the last 10 years (and has only accelerated the decline since 2000).
