I don't recall seeing ["a campaign to shut down Arab websites just prior to the attacks"] mentioned before. Nor do I, and that certainly would have been something that conspiracy theorists would have been all over. For that reason, I'm strongly inclined to consider those "articles" utterly fabricated; perhaps it's an effort to selectively backfill as long-held elements of the conspiratorial story are invalidated or lose their luster. I'll take a closer look; if it's true, I'd bet there's much more to it than meets the proverbial eye. LPS5
