Porsche drivers are .... LAST !msnbc.msn.com HAHAHAHA the reality is... not what kind of cars one drives... but HOW you drive the car... (whatever it might be) -lol Not for nothing they refer to cars as.... 'she & her' -lol for example.... do you take the corners... braking early as you come into it ? or do you brake waaaaaaaaay deep to the point you are sweating to the limits of adhesion, as you make the CURVE.... wandering if you are going to end upside down then, as you accelerate out of the curves, do you.... wimply throtle out with barely a bang and not even reaching maximum RPM's as you change her gears, without reaching climax of the willing motor in every one of her gears.... or... you smoothly increase acceleration, pushing the foot firmly but gently, reaching the motor's climax in each and every one of her gears; as you enter the straight, you fill the track to its last millimiter, on a power slide on all four... strong, smooth and gliding at full blast, yet in total control of the machine, knowing that you have the power at the tip of your foot and fingers, while gentleness is all important, firmness is equally in demand... as you approach the next tight curve... do you.... slow down before due time, allowing the beast to cool off to the point that brakes are not even necessary.... or... again, you come on to it hard and strong... going down through the gears like hot knife through butter commanding the use of the stick, with quick, firm and smooth movements to allow the motor assist you in bringing to a slower pace, yet still quick enough maintaining the necessary RPM, to keep momentum then a couple of quick & swift movements of the wrist, to guide her through the tight spot, controlling the fast reactions -almost with violent motion- as the hot and sticky roundness of the racing tires, carry the two of you in/out quickly ready for the next segment of exhilaration to the next sweeping and fast bend... never mind the car.... it is the driver that makes the speed and create the magic... it is true, that the car has to have and yield you the raw materials for the artful creation.... voloptuous and slender fenders, wide in the right places, to allow for the power to be delivered; a hot and speedy motor that reacts to the slightest movements of your foot and a steering that is so precise it only takes a gentle but firm movement of the driver's fingers to guide her through the most difficult sections of a most provocative curvaceous road.... a steering wheel, round and firm, but the key to get the desired results, one has to strike the perfect movement every time... LOL !! ever heard the expression that racing is better than sex? HAHAHAHA (the reason is... the fast driving is only the foreplay... by the time you get to the real sex part, one's senses are fully awaken...) -g
