Political races last for two years. The attention span that makes the difference is all in the last two weeks-like the last 3 1/2 minutes of an NBA game. The other 23 1/2 months is just fair-weather maneuver, like 18th century warfare. It matters, but it doesn't decide the outcome. The slimy traitor, John Kerry, doesn't inspire the volume of mass hatred that he will, because most of America simply hasn't heard of him, and doesn't care. When FORCED to get to know him, they will punish the anti-American Democrat party so severely that it may simply go the way of the Whigs in the 1850's...
