"I explained repeatedly that humans can value because they are groveling before some imagined God, or they can value the preservation of their life and their happiness because it is in their nature to do so. This is acknowledged by all people with even a modicum of education."

Can? I thought we were trying to establish a "MUST"?
To say that humans "can value" is not the same as saying that they "OUGHT" or must. Further to say that someone's self interest necessitates that they afford the same to others is exactly why the "Useful Idiot" quote is entirely applicable in your case.

<<<How the Atheist moves from what is to what ought to be is the question you have to avoid because you don't have an answer>>>

"It is axiomatic that life is the primary value."

No, it's not axiomatic beyond the individual. This has been practically demonstrated by the few poster boy Atheist's who have managed to kill their way in to power.

You can pretend that your position is logical, but in fact; "Those are the ethics of a mental midget".
