Where do you want to start? Viet Nam? How many lies were told over that war for years and years before people stopped believing. Inflated body counts, light at the end of the tunnel, etc. Watergate? Lies. Iran/Contra. Lies. Crash safety tests. Lies. Environmental protection. Lies. Deficit projections. Lies. Gulf War. Lies. Clinton. Lies on top of Lies. 9/11. Lies (what were the SOPs for intercepting planes again, and when were the interceptors launched?). WMDs/Iraq. More lies. See a pattern developing. Our government, whether controlled by Ds or Rs has trouble telling us the truth. All to often their official story turns out to be fabrications and lies. I can't believe them anymore.
