AMAT HOD was 19.98....

Beware the resistance and support of round numbers, especially those divisible by $10. ($2.50 options multiple is the next magic divisor.)

I've found I do much better if I give da market 2 to 5¢ from those round numbers... sometimes as much as 50¢ if I am looking for a big run such as LRCX from $22.50 to $35.

I used this recent correction to triple my shares in FNSR (2 buys: 1,000 @ $1.83 and 1,000 @ $1.37). Today it closed at the HOD of $1.99... you think some others had some auto sells at $2 to lock in some gains?

Printed a high of 19.98 today. I think it went over 20 last night but my limit order doesnt apply to extended hours trading and i was in a meeting. This has happened to me before. I missed selling wcom at 45 by a few cents on a limit order. Dont ask. That one was the most hurtful market experience ever. mike
