1400 billion dollars in exchange for turds at the local wastewater treatment plant. Where do I pledge half my income for that kind of return?

None of it matters. GW Bush has the "Elvis" quality that wins over Americans. Kerry is about as far from that type of personality as possible. Bob Dole reminisced last night about observing John Kerry's decision-making style before casting a Senate vote. Dole said "he was very careful.....probably too careful". A strong leader is capable of making a decision once he has heard all the facts. Someone who is too deliberative like Kerry would be disastrous for American foreign policy and cause paralysis by analysis in Wash DC. Al Gore has the same type of personality. They're afraid to make decisions because of the chance it could be the wrong one, therefore they appoint committees to study every issue to death. By the time all that deliberation is complete, 3 nuclear plants have already been sabotaged by terrorists. The ability to make decisions on critical issues in a timely manner is one of the most important qualities of a competent leader. Kerry doesn't have that quality and replaces it with straddling every issue. He perceives that habit as the way to avoid making mistakes.
