The nightmare reality of millions of muslims dominated and brainwashed by fundamentalist and militant clerics taking advantage of both economic stagnation and the tremendous baby boom underway in the region... Hey, I've got an idea, why don't we bomb the hell out of them killing their women and children, torture them in sexually explicit ways, murder them in captivity, take over a couple of their countries and leave them without police protection or security and encourage them to kill our soldiers, then we can make martyrs out of a few of them. Yeah, and maybe then those clerics won't be able to brainwash them. They should be bending their knees to the "strong horse" then, right? The truth is that if we just stop digging that hole they'll have a lot more to worry about than us. Let them figure out that we're not their problem, and a good way to start to do that would be to stop being their problem. When the dust settles they may look to the root causes of their poverty and their plight and, in a less emotional climate, figure out a path less torturous. But that's not what the "people in charge" have recommended, is it?
