I ran the mem test for (ever) 45,200 cycles (overnight) which translated to 28,000% coverage with no errors in the memory.

Also, no firewall (shadowman).

Any other ideas on what is causing the crashes? Would it be driver related, or perhaps something inherently wrong with the motherboard? This computer has had problems straight from the factory. Of course their only solution was to upgrade the OS and now it is out of warranty. I've tried Gateway's tech support, but there "out-of-country" techs are not much help and usually the computer crashes while they're poking around and then you have to start all over with a new out-of-country tech that knows less than the one before.

I appreciate the help of the board here.

Thanks,
Robert
