It's on your keyboard. PrintScreen button. Hitting the button places the picture in memory. Open word, wordpad, or paint and do a ctrl+v or go to edit/paste. There's also several free screen capture programs that have more features such as this one.

Alt + Print Screen key will print just the window you are working on. I've used that to paste from clipboard into another program to save or to get a shot of the setting I have for a program.

Not sure how useful that is but I guess others will know.
