JFK was strong on national defense during the dangerous Cold War period...he stared down Nikita Kruschev during the Bay of Pigs crisis. The world held it's breath as American vessels blocked Russian ships that were carrying long-range missiles to Cuba. Kruschev finally blinked & the world breathed a sigh of relief as the Russian ships turned around. That's leadership. Kerry would run around asking the UN & foreign leaders what he should do before ever making such an important decision. We can't afford a hesitant, indecisive leader at this point.
