Knew Kerry's group was watching SI...We said this RIGHT after Gore's meltdown...he, Daschle, Pelosi, Kennedy, Byrd, ad naseaum, are willing to sacrifice their personal standards, so that 'Kerry will appear to be a moderate...'

Even Clinton, either of them, must be throwing up when they think of Gore...

Then the Kerry folks realized the speech would actually help them. After Gore, anything Kerry said would seem downright substantive and moderate."
