i think it's only a matter of time before they go after the infrastructure. it's not like they're going to destroy the "goose that lays the golden eggs"--they'll just squash a few eggs, but more importantly the delivery infrastructure between the goose and the consumers in ROW. Baer actually discusses this in his book.

They want to drive out western influence in Saudi oil, overthrow the Saudi regime and put Saudi oil in control of an Islamic fundamentalist government. Oil is power and they want that power intact.
