Bushies have given "liberals" a good name again. So Dennis Kucinich, Ralph Nader and Patty Murray thank them. I for one am a true centrist, though a bit on the liberal side on certain isues.

I certainly do not support lefty ideas or huge handouts to anyone who doesn't earn it. In fact, I am more conservative than many so-called conservatives these days, especially on fiscal matters. I believe in paying as we go. I personally don't carry debt. I even paid off my mortgage. So I don't like our government doing so. we have FAR-FAR too much debt already.

On the environjment, I thin conservatives need to conserve too and this should not be a partisan issue. Why are conservatives lining up with the polluters? Makes no sense except dirty mojney they get from the polluters for their campaigns. That's blood money, like money from tobacco, drug companies and HMO's that want to hurt consumers in return.

I also am more hawkish than some conservatives in certain ways. For instance, if we know of terrorists at a certain place and collateral damage would be minimal, I say bomb them or send in a strike force even if they're on foreign soil and we might piss off the host country. But good intel is crucial and that means humint or on the ground operatives.
