Kerry cannot connect with voters because he leads a life shared by a tiny percentage of Americans. His wife's 5 houses are in the most affluent areas of the nation.

Bush leads a life shared by a tiny percentage of Americans. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He used this privilege to avoid combat duty when everyone else was being drafted to fight in Vietnam. While in the position of Commander in Chief, he froze like a coward on 9/11.

How can he connect with voters?

Tom

Bush is from the most elite family in the US and is an east coast preppy and Ivy Leaguer transplanted to Texas because his father wanted to make money in oil. He has a more elitist background that Kerry and many more advantages in life. In fact, Bush has never really worked to earn anything in his life other than on campaigning, which he enjoys as it's alot like his college cheerleading.
