Bravo Orca. I saw a blip on TV where someone said, and I'm paraphrasing.. "It's not the disagreement of the followers of Islam and there counterparts that cause the fighting. It's the damn heat and not enough water to drink.
Kinda simplistic, but along with your quote about poverty causing crime it kinda went along with it.

Elementary School, Junior High School, Community College, Subsidized 4 Years Schools, Scholarships, Parks and Recreation Centers, Lists of Hundreds of After School Programs, Sports Activities and the list goes on and on. And there is no opportunity? Opportunity for what, making $100,000 a year without a high school diploma even? But in drugs, there you might do that. Its about greed. Drugs is about greed. Gangs are about pride and greed.
