Perhaps it was a bit unfair to carry the fight to the ME and distract the terrorists from further attacks here, but it was and is "their" guys causing the problems.

No.. what was unfair was Saudi Arabia royal family foolishly thinking they could export their militants to Afghanistan, help establish a Wahhabist regime in the Taliban, placate Bin Laden and his family, permitting him to plan and plot a massive attack on innocent Americans...

And it was unfair for them to think that all of this could happen without some form of "blowback" being delivered upon them, either by us, or their own rogues.

I have have no remorse about requiring muslims to bear the same consequences Americans have been forced to bear for the past several decades.

After all, it's their fight as well. And they need to understand that their religious militants are just as willing to kill them, as they are Westerners.
