Rock > The next U.S. military conflict?.... think China over Taiwan

Who benefits? Taiwan doesn't have any oil or Zionists -- or Muslims, for that matter. So what would the motive be?

> part of the motivation is to send a message to potential adversaries to beware of our military might.

China is not an adversary. China is a valued business partner who produces goods for the US at slave wages and then invests billions of dollars in US debt, thereby propping up the USD. Anyway, I'm not so sure about the "military might"?

Talking about US military might reminds me of a nature documentary I once saw on TV where wild dogs hunt a lion and kill it. Sure, the lion killed a few dogs and injured a few more but in the end the dogs win. Of course, the reason the dogs attacked the lion in the first place was because they sensed it wasn't as strong as it pretended it was.
