Soybeans and silver have a price relationship in the pits. If this crushes beans expect silver to follow.

Hello Russ, I actually do not view <<the Chinese soybeans debacle>> as particularly alarming one way or another path, because similar episodes happened before (wool, cotton, whatever else), and will no doubt happen again and again, powered by the same greed/fear that energizes the financial markets.

I am checking out some distress opportunities in China, and they are looking good, but may look even better later.

Similarly, opportunities elsewhere will also look better later.
