Soros funds a PAC or two. Not involved in the Kerry campaign. Soros has been very critical of Bush's economic policies, just as Warren Buffett has been, from the beginning. The rightwing tries to paint Soros as some kind of liberal but I think he's just a mega capitalist who wants CLintonesque fiscal discipline again. I haven't heard about him being anti-war or anything. He has also done business with Bush in the past. In fact he's the one who bailed Bush out of Harken Energy. He calls Bush a lousy businessman from that experience.
