The public will never be so philosophical that it will vote on the basis of foreign policy. The public is only concerned with what directly affects it. I suspect that since the public was getting bombed by terrorists under Democrats who did nothing, it will re-elect George W. Bush because, unlike the Democrats, he is at least fighting terrorism.

If the public elects Kerry, then it will mean the public deserves him.
