Well, I've got to give it to the republican party that they know how to do a full court press. The fact that in 2002 they hammered away and hammered away from Aug-Oct and they convinced the people on capital hill to give Bush the power to go to was in Iraq is a testimony to their effectiveness. That effectiveness may have resulted in a war that will be their undoing. The majority of Americans were for war only if it was done with a coalition like the first gulf war was. This administration rushed to war, thumbed it's nose at the American people and the rest of the world, and did what it wanted to do anyway. If that's the kind of leadership this country votes back in, it is the kind of leadership they deserve. We also agree on that point. They could write a book, "How to go to war on a shoestring of support'.
